In 2019, Carolyn was overwhelmed with disgust by the magnitude of ignorance, misogyny, discrimination, transphobia and ineptness coming from the leaders in the US gov't. She wrote this song out of sheer frustration for what was going on. This song was celebrated by many who share her viewpoint, and it traveled half way around the world to find a home in the documentary "On Resistance Street", a film produced in the UK by Montaj Media.
